About Drew

Where it all began

Growing up in Ottawa, Drew was always involved in sport, playing hockey, soccer, and golf from a young age. As he got older and pursued his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology, his interest in overall fitness and sport performance developed. He began incorporating running and cycling into his routine, drawn to both the physical challenge and the opportunity to spend time outdoors.

Drew eventually tried a few seasons of road racing with the Ottawa Bicycle Club, where he quickly fell in love with cycling. Since then, the sport has become a central part of his life, and he is now a passionate road and gravel rider.

Sport

Drew continues to stay involved in cycling through racing, particularly in the growing gravel scene. He has developed a strong interest in ultra-endurance events and bikepacking, and has completed several long-distance trips, including crossing most of Canada and riding sections of Scotland’s North Coast 500.

Alongside cycling, Drew remains an avid golfer and hockey player, and he values the variety that comes from participating in multiple sports.
